Karen's smile and bubbly personality would always light up any room she was in. I miss your "likes" and comments on my Facebook page. Rest in eternal peace my friend. Prayers for Max and the rest of the family.

Karen "liked" simply everything I ever put on my Facebook page..someone once asked me if there was an app that automatically liked everything but I think, no, that was just Karen. Warm and kind and attentive even if I had not seen her since I was a kid in St Louis Park. My thoughts and prayers are with you all

I am so sad at the passing of Aunt Karen. I do have so many good memories that I will continue holding on to. Love to all of my cousin's.

My heart breaks for all her family and my good friend and neighbor Debbie and her boys. Anyone that had the pleasure to spend time with Karen, will miss her. Karen was someone that you instantly liked because she cared about you without knowing you. I looked forward to seeing, chatting and laughing with her out in Debbie's yard, where she loved to help with the gardening. She was a unique and dear woman. She loved her family and was so happy to be with all the children. I innately sense that she will always be close for you, her family and she would want you all to be happy.

I love this picture of our mom. I used to wear that jacket of hers in high school. I'm pretty sure this is the last picture of my mom, Ella sleeping on her lap. Most of Ella's naps during her first six months were on Nana Karen.
