Kaye Lorraine Akers Adams, 52, of Shelby, North Carolina, a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church, died at Cleveland Regional Medical Center on Monday, September 9, 2002. Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, September 13, 2 p.m., at Lawndale United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. David Reep and the Rev. Fred Helms Jr. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, following services, at the church. Memorial donations are appreciated to Cleveland Regional Medical Center Foundation, Emergency Room Department, 201 East Grover Street, Shelby, NC 28150. Arrangements entrusted to Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston, North Carolina.
