Kaye Lorraine Akers Adams, 52, of Shelby, North Carolina, a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church, died at Cleveland Regional Medical Center on Monday, September 9, 2002. Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, September 13, 2 p.m., at Lawndale United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. David Reep and the Rev. Fred Helms Jr. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, following services, at the church. Memorial donations are appreciated to Cleveland Regional Medical Center Foundation, Emergency Room Department, 201 East Grover Street, Shelby, NC 28150. Arrangements entrusted to Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston, North Carolina.

As a fellow co-worker of Kay's, I am so sorry to learn of her passing. My prayers go out to her family. May God bless all of you during this sad time.

Our thoughts & prayers are with you all. Kaye was a very special woman who loved the Lord,her family,Insley and especially that beautiful grandaughter. She has went home now,no more pain and no more worries. Kaye will never be forgotten. God Bless You All

Kaye was a wonderful woman whom will live on forever with the Lord and in the hearts of all that loved her.
