I Never heard of Kaye Stevens until 1974 when I came across the TV soundtrack album on GORDY 933 "THE TEMPTATIONS SHOW".
In 1979, WTTG in Washington, DC rebroadcast the entire "THE TEMPTATIONS SHOW". It contained two songs peformed by Kaye Stevens, both are referred to on the album liner notes. She was introduced by Paul Williams.
In the broadcast, of which I saw on cable TV, I do not remember if an audience were ever on camera throughout. I just remember singing along with every song that was on the soundtrack and I did not leave the room during commercials.
I would like to acquire the DVD sometime.
That was my only info of Kaye Stevens that I could find until now. None of my older friends had ever heard of her.
Hopefully, I will be able to hear more of her, if she recorded any other items.
The 1920's Radio Network, of which I can access online through a link from www.whro.org may be the only way.

Kaye and I met after she attended one of my trunk shows at a specialty show in Houston Tx. the year was 1967....shortly after that she came to my design studio in NYC and we became instant friends, From that point on I designed most of her on-stage clothes, and her personal wardrobe came from my collections.
Kaye did all of the talk shows of the day and many times had me as a special guest when she appeared on the Mike Douglas show.
they were magical days.
In 2003 when I was honored by the Brockton MA Historical society, Kaye came to my show and performed.
The most important part of my story is that Kaye helped me rediscover my faith. Her spirituality rubbed off on me big time!
God bless dear friend and rest in peace.
Love
Leo

Kaye, you brought so much joy to people with your music. I recently lost my father who sang like an angel too. Maybe you could do a duet with him. He would be very proud. He sang your kind of music.
May you rest in peace with the angels
