Thelma M. Murphy
1930 - 2018
Thelma M. Murphy, 88, a resident of Kenosha, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, at Parkside Manor Memory Care.
Born on Feb. 22, 1930, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Jens Peter and Nellie (Namur) Jensen. On Sept. 5, 1953, she married Eugene C. Murphy in Kenosha.
She was employed for many years at the Kenosha Chamber of Commerce Credit Bureau. Thelma was a devoted mother who loved travel and enjoyed many years of her retirement dancing with friends at the Kenosha Senior Center. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, James J. (Susan) Murphy of Cumming, Ga., John C. (Lorri) Murphy of Kenosha; one daughter, Gail (Mike) Murphy of Kenosha; two grandchildren, Sean (Rachael) and Andy (Emilie) Murphy; and an upcoming great grandchild (Andy & Emilie Murphy).
Private services for Mrs. Murphy are scheduled at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.

I am very sorry to hear of your mother's death. I am the daughter of Thelma's first cousin Jean Lois (Jensen) Howell who used to live in Suffolk, VA. I am Anne Jensen (Howell) Wood. I live in Carlisle, PA. Thorvald "T" Jensen was my grandfather.
