Mrs. Michler, I'm heartbroken to hear about Charles. He is by far my favorite person I've ever had the privilege of caring for. He had the most wonderful positive, easygoing attitude, and was so easy to love. I'm so sorry I never made it to Mayfair to see him, but I think of him often. I was just asking someone about him yesterday! I know he will be terribly missed.

Dear Jane,
I am thinking and praying for you and your family at this time. I love you and Charles so much. It was so good to see you both at the dining table in the evenings and be able to either talk to you or at least give you both a wave! I loved Charles' smile! I pray that you have good times with your family and continue to enjoy life to the fullest. I miss you!

Much love,
Peggy Smithers

Jane and family I'm so sorry to hear of Charles Harris' passing. One of the benefits of being an SAE is to have met and known outstanding people like him.His unsung dedication to the chapter was a true inspiration to me.I was thinking of him October 11th when I was inducted into the SAE hall of fame as one of the people I owed thanks to.I'm sure he will be welcome in our chapter eternal as on who lived the True Gentleman everyday.

Jane and Family, Martha and I were saddened to read of you loss of Charles. He was a good man and fine supporter of UK's athletic's program. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family as you continue to celebrate this fine and good citizen of Lexington. Cliff Hagan
