Dallas was my cousin. He was always a joy to be around with his jokes. I will always remember the camping trips that The Tale Tell campers took together. The family I am sorry for your loss.

My condolences to all the family and friends and especially sister Evelyn who was a member of my Prestonsburg High School Class of 1953. I have great memories of hearing the Sammons Family Quartet sing at various times. I enjoyed it very much.
May God bless and comfort you all.

My name is George Thompson. My father was Rev. Charles (Margaret) Thompson, who was pastor at Lancer Baptist Chapel, then David Baptist Church.
If I am not mistaking, Dallas worked at the Ford garage as parts manager in the early 1960s. My two brothers and I worked there as gin boys. When Dallas needed one of us to run an errand, he stuck his head out the parts window and yelled, "Preacher!" Whoever was closest would answer his call.
A very good man.

I got acquainted with Dallas while pastoring in Prestonsburg. Dallas always treated my like a brother and friend. I preached his mom and dad's funerals and wish to express our sympathy and love for this family.
