Caroline was a jewel! I will always cherish our conversations. I met her while she volunteered in our Hospice library. Please accept my sympathy.
A dear lady and a dear friend. Strong willed but always a kind word. I will miss her.
I enjoyed my friendship with Caroline all the time we worked at KET. She was a spunky, stubborn, sweet, wonderful, brilliant, flirty, courageous, woman and I thought the world of her. May you rest in eternal peace Caroline. Blessed be.
My father and i met Caroline when we moved right next door, she was always there with open arms for hugs. we would always see her walking a few times a day, gardening, and being the sweet woman she always was. Sadly i only got 7 years with her but those were the best times, I'm a better person for knowing her
Carolyn was a classmate of mine at the University of Kentucky and then a Co-worker at the Lexington Public Library. I value her spirit, her ideas and most of all her wonderful energy and moral character. The world is a poorer place without Carolyn Simmons.

Caroline was one of my most loved and trusted friends. We went to graduate school together. Our children were friends. Although we did not see each other in the last few years as much as we would have liked, she remained steadfastly in my heart. I miss knowing that she is in my world.
Caroline was a mentor and a dear friend. My husband and I met and married while at KET and Caroline was part of our families--she came to parties and holidays and shared our lives. We were so happy when she found her Joe and so sad when she lost him, but Caroline always persevered. Though we moved away, I'm so glad my children got the chance to meet her. She had integrity, character, and a dynamic spirit. She will be remembered fondly and missed greatly.
