I will always remember my cousin with fond memories.
We are so sorry for your loss. May God grant you the strength to get through difficult days ahead.
G.J. Smith was a great player, a great coach, and more importantly, a great person.
So long to the London Long Rifle!
Trey and family,
My condolences in this time of great loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I was sorry to hear of G.J's passing. I knew him back at UK and sat next to his parents and sister in Dayton at the NCAA regional tournament. I really enjoyed his friendship back then, as well as, the kindness of his family.
I know that he will be missed by all those that loved him.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
G.J. was a solid person in athletics and everyday life and never forgot his roots or way of life as he was raised like a lot of former UK players let happen once they wore the blue and white .
G.J. was just a good ole boy who loved his Laurel Co. roots and way of life .
