I got to know JD when he would come in the Town Branch Market on the corner of Main and Esplanade. He would sit and tell me about jobs he had over the years like working with the Greyhound Bus Company. We enjoyed our talks together and I'm sorry he is gone. I will miss him a great deal.
I was saddened to hear of your loss. Rev. Connor was such a special person. We shared a common interest in reading. On each of my visits home following morning service he would find me in the crowd and share the latest book that he was reading or tell me about a class he was taking. It was clear that he loved learning almost as much as he loved God. May God grant each of you His peace during this difficult time.
