I just learned of Ralph's passing yesterday. I am an ACPE supervisor colleague, and enjoyed working with Ralph at regional events, especially Standards Committee where Ralph would regale us with stories of early times in CPE. I was always very impressed that he brought his Greek studies to conferences. I am happy and blessed to have known him! My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
We at ITNBG send our sympathies. Mr. Carpenter was loved by all who drove him and many people asked about him when he stopped riding as often. Such a kind man with such a generous spirit. He made quite an impression and we will miss him.
Saddened to hear of Dr. Carpenter's passing. Enjoyed working with him in the College of Health Sicences/University of Kentucky and listening to his wonderful stories.

Gail, I was one of Ralph's Hospice volunteers for awhile on Tuesdays when you were able to play bridge. I was out of town when his death occurred and am so sorry I could not stop in. He was a joy; I enjoyed every day I spent with him. I did stop in to see him when he was at St. Joseph, but I don't think he remembered me, but he was such a sweet soul. My thoughts are with you at this time.
Gail .. So sorry to hear :( .. I just found out, so I am sorry that I didn't make it to the funeral to pay my respects !! .. Like many I'm sure, Ralph helped me through some tough times !! .. I will always remember the two times I drove Ralph down to St. Patrick's in Somerset .. we had some good talks .. And of course he will always be remembered at 'The Way We Were' group .. I/we will miss him !!
Dearest Ralph. Always loved, respected and will be greatly missed by all.
Gail and family,
My deepest sympathies on the loss of Mr. Carpenter. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Having known Rev. Carpenter over the years I can honestly say that for me he was an extremely kind and compassionate individual who carried the message well.
Dear Aunt Gail and family - We are so sad to have lost Uncle Ralph. Although we can't be there for the services, please know that you are constantly in our thoughts and that we love you dearly. I am sending up prayers for Uncle Ralph. He was a wonderful man and he will be missed.
Uncle Ralph was the best. I will never forget when he took a walk on the beach and game back 3 hours later a hot sweaty mess. He said he was just going for a walk!!!! It was more like a marathon! I am going to miss him tremendously.
