Buried in Lawrenceburg Ky Cemetery..The largest Blue Marble headstone..the last lines of the Inscription..." A friend to all" To be Continued...RIP Bill..
We miss seeing your smiling face at the end of the bench during each game. This season is for you!
I live in Nashville and did not hear the news that Mr. Wildcat died in March 1 day after my birthday. I am a big wildcat fan and have watched Kentucky football and basketball for the past 25 years and still love the big blue. Mr. Bill will be missed and can never be replaced for the dedication he had for UK and life. I am still in shock after learning this.
God Bless your last journey.

Obviously, not a lot more needs to be said about a guy who inspired 328 pages of comments...I moved away a few years ago, and just now read of his passing. He was the essence of not only UK basketball, but amateur sports. His chair should be put in the NCAA hall of fame.
Keep smiling from Heaven, we will never forget you!
i am really going to miss him no boby can replace him
Now you can sit to the right of the greates coach all,GOD.
Please accept my deepest sympathies.
