Blessings to the wonderful family John left behind. His legacy will live on, here on earth, now that he is one of the saints in Heaven cheering you all on. I am sincerely sorry for your loss and pray that God will use this as a time to reflect, grow stronger and journey your lives to join him again someday. What a rejoicing moment that will be! Thank you Lord Jesus for John Owens and his beautiful loved ones as part of all of our lives.

I so remember Johnny being 'one of the nicest guys to play with'. His advice to me in our partner's game one day was "he usually found that if WE got a par and not more than a bogey, that we would do alright". I told John that I knew he would get the par, but I wasn't sure about me only getting a bogey. We always did alright!

To Bobby and the Owens family, sorry to hear of your loss of a great pilot, golfer, father, Grandfather and husband.
