Grand, Mr. Owens was certainly Grand to Kentucky Golf. His presence fills Golf House Kentucky - photos, plaques, and tons of historical papers. Seems every GHK visitor has a John Owens story. So very glad he was able to attend the State Am dinner in his honor. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
