CONBOY Judy Ann Dominick. On March 23rd, 2015, Judy entered into eternal rest. She was born in Jacksonville, FL to Elizabeth and Esmond Dominick Jr. on February 10, 1944. she was 71. She spent her early childhood in Richmond, VA and later moved to Chesapeake, VA. she is a graduate of Old Dominion College and married H. Steve Conboy on December 18, 1965. After she married, Judy worked for the Dairy Science Department at Virginia Tech and later the South Eastern Soil and Water Conversation Service in Athens, Ga. After living in Athens, Judy and Steve moved to Lexington, KY where they have lived for over 40 years. She worked in their family business as Office Manager and Bookkeeper for Maple Farm and their equine veterinary practice. Judy enjoyed riding horses, gardening, snow skiing, and loved going to the beach. She loved animals and her favorite pet was her beloved dog, Charlie. She is a member of First United Methodist Church where she was involved with church decorating, the alter guild and the youth programs. She was a member of the Bluegrass Juniors Woman's Club, Lexington Woman's Club, and Lexington Garden Club. She was also very active with the Fayette County Project Graduation. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Steve, as well as their 2 children Michelle Waring of Summerville, SC, Ryan Conboy and wife Bedell of Lexington, KY. Her mother Elizabeth Dominick of Moyock, NC. 2 brothers, Lester Dominick (Michelle), and Steve Dominick of Va. Beach, VA. 4 grandchildren, Jake Waring, Sims Waring, Graham Conboy, and Will Conboy. Funeral service will be 2pm Friday at Kerr Bros. - Main St. by Chaplain Diane Munoz. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 465 E. High St., STE 100, Lexington KY 40507 in her memory.
