My parents were frequent shoppers at Boone's Antiques. They dragged me to Boone's nearly every week & the one thing that made those visits tolerable was Pete Laughlin. He'd tell me the best stories & let me run around in the spooky downstairs & poke around in the new acquisitions part. I have nothing but fond memories of Pete & my parents still tell stories about he & I giggling about silly stuff. He was a great guy & I'm sad to hear of his passing.

To Pete's family,
I met Pete in 1983 or 1984 when I moved across the street from him on Weat Short Street. Many many evenings were spent sharing cocktails, preparing fabulous meals with much laughter, love and frivolity. And yes, his laugh was very infectious. Good-bye Dear Peter. You will be remembered fondly.

Pete was the "Mayor" of West Short Street when I lived there in the 80's. We always had something going on and Pete added the charm and fun and hospitality. He will be remembered fondly as he was loved by so many. Condolences and love to the family. Pete Laughlin was a very special man.

Pete,it's impossible to realize your are no longer part of our daily lives. You were a kick with so many silly stories about your friends, travels, parties etc. I vicariously lived your wonderful life. I miss you. Sis
