Your really gonna be missed. this was the only radio show I actually made a point to listen to. Bandy and Bailey both made my days, they were so good together. my thoughts and prayers are with the family and everyone at the station during this time. You are sadly missed.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I waited until now and I still can't find the words to express myself. There are so many wonderful Bandy memories to cherish. Bandy even made me laugh when I lost my dad. I still owe him the 3 wheeled mercedes! Our friendship has been so rewarding. I just regret that Pike County took over my life and we didn't get to reunite in Lexington. "Wherever you are it is your friends who make your world." Thanks Bambi and Jason for having me be be a part of Bandy's world.
Amber and Scarlett will never be the same! It is difficult to let loved ones go, but the memories we have will never fade. Take care and I promise to spend more time with you guys.

I've been listening to him and Bailey on the radio for as long as I can remember. But just know that as the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you.. He will be missed!!

Bandy will live on forever in our memories and always remember how easy he made our rides to work with the humor and friendship that he shared with Jason and Deidre. My prayers are with Jason, Deidre and Bandys family. God Bless all of you.

I have missed hearing Bandy on the morning show for several weeks now. I have been wondering where he was. I found out this morning on my way to work. I pulled up the story on-line and confirmed my suspicions. I was shocked! Eventhough we only knew him casually, what a hard hit to take. Sympathies to his Mother, sister and immediate family. To Jason, your loss is insurmountable! You can certainly hold your own, but it just doesn't sound the same. You and Diedra stay strong. Michael's contagious laugh will be sorely missed every morning in Lexington.

I was truly saddened when I heard that Bandy had passed away. I didn't know him, but I feel like I knew him. He and Jason and Deirdre become like family when you hear them every morning. I so enjoyed listening on my way to work--wouldn't listen to any other station. You all always made me laugh at some point, even if I was having a bad day. Bandy was such hoot. I know that you all will miss him terribly, but the whole area will miss him as well. He touched so many lives with joy and laughter. I am sure now, though, that in heaven's airwaves, there is a new morning show featuring none other than Michael Bandy. My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family. God Bless you all.
