Timothy Carper Obituary

CARPER Timothy Dewaine, born on May 12, 1984 passed away, Jan 1, 2013. He was the beloved son of Joyce and Steve Crowe. He leaves behind his sisters, Pamela Crowe and Kristina Harrison; brothers, Tony, Pete, and Steven Harrison; his grandparents, Judy Harrison, Edgar and Patty Carper, and Emma Crowe; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and church family who love him dearly. He was preceded in death by other brothers and sisters, icluding Tina, Justin, Marcus, and Amanda Harrison. What a joyful reunion that must have been with hugs and kisses and of course a football game in their "Father's big yard." He will be greatly missed, but now he sings and dances in his savior's presence on legs that actually work and a heart that does not grow too tired. Visitation 11am-1pm Sat, Jan 5 at Trinity Baptist Church, 1675 Strader Dr., Lexington, KY 40505. Services 1pm, Sat. by Dr. Chuck Bug and Rev. Greg McClellan. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jeff Carper, Darrell Carper, A.J. Garrett, Chuck Wood, and John Smoot. www.ScobeeFuneralHome.com

I never knew this young man personally but each time I walked into Kroger's and he was there he always was so polite and mannerly. His beautiful smile lit up the store. I commented one day on his smile and he just smiled even bigger. He made my day. To the family: You had an angel living among you and I'm sure you knew it. Now you have your personal angel to watch over you. Absent from the body means present with the Lord. God bless each and everyone of you.
