My Sincere Condolences to the White family at this most difficult time. Rest In Peace Mayor White. You were a great Mayor for Boston. Thank You for your loyal service.

I now live in NC, and check the Boston news now and again. I am so saddened to read this news! Mr. White did such great things in Boston and my favorite teenage memory is Summerthing. That was something that was geared for the teens, but was a family friendly function. In Eastie we all looked forward to Summerthing and all the other Parks and Recs things...Thank you Mr. White....and prayers go to your family.

To the White family,
My sympathies on the loss of Mayor White.
He was a fine leader, and he will be missed. He served the city of Boston well.

I knew Kevin White when I worked at GAry's Drug Store on Charles and Mt Vernon (where he lived) as a teen inthe early 1960's. He came in frequently to cash a cheque (usually for a $100) on the weekend. And I used to deliver items from the store to his house up the street. He was always very polite and freindly--in fact unpretetntious even though he was then Secretary of state of MAssachusetts. James Dubro, Toronto
