I served under Kimberly in the ROTC battalion while attending Presbyterian College. We were all in awe of her, and will always remember the inspiration she personally brought out in me as a student, and as an American. She will always be my hero.
R. Mack, Class of 1998, Presbyterian College.

Just wanted to stop by and remember the sacrifice that Capt. Kimberly Hampton gave for our country and thank her family and fiance as well. What a fine young woman. Our world lost a future leader...
God bless,
Michelle

The Other Side

i'm over on the other side
where life and death softly divide.
left my skin and bones behind
now i'm over on the other side.

can you feel me there with you?
my breath is gone but i'm not through.
loved you then and i still do
from over on the other side.

i can fly. really fly.
below the earth ... all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.

it's good here on the other side.
the sweetest songs...the bluest skies.
thank you for the tears you cried
but it's good here on the other side.

i can fly. really fly. below the earth...all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side

the world is smaller than a needle's eye.
where life and death softly divide.
when you leave your skin and bones behind
i'll be waiting on the other side.

i can fly. really fly. below the earth ... all through the sky.
go tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.

Thank you capt Kimberly Hampton,

You are not forgotten, you were one of our nations best. I will always cherish your gift.

My only wish is to be granted a small fraction of your courage so I can live a life worthy of your sacrifice.

Rest In Peace

I did not have the honour of knowing Kimberly. I do, however, know she is a hero of mine. She is an inspiration. She is what defines a hero. After realizing her heroism, I soon realized I had some growing up to do. Because of heroes like her, I am a better person. Thank you Kim. You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace brave soldier.

For those of you who never met Kimberly...you have no idea the light and enthusiasm that shined around her! I knew her since we were young tennis players in South Carolina...and into our college years when we taught camp over the summer. Every time I drive through Easley, I think of her...and other times, too! Knowing that she died doing something that she loved makes it a little easier...but never takes away the pain. To Mrs. Hampton...I can never say I'm sorry for your loss enough...but I want to thank you because without you, I would never have known Kimberly!!

To those who are still fighting for our freedom...we can never say thank you enough! Stay safe.
