To the family of Capt. Kimberly Hampton:

What an incredible and outstanding person Kimberly was. Her achievements are greatly admired. She may have been the 1st female pilot to die but not the last to remember. May God bless her family and I will keep you in my prayers.

”Honor and Remember” - “Project Compassion” We love our Soldiers! We love our country and we cannot express enough love and compassion to the families of our fallen heroes. War does not discriminate – It breaks our hearts to see the faces of the fallen. We want to give this gift to the hero’s Mother, Father and/or spouse. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization! Over 1,800 portraits have been completed and shipped to the parents and or spouse - at no cost as this is a gift from one American to another!
This is a gift! We have some wonderful sponsors who help with the costs, and only want you know that we care.
Contact us directly at Projectcompassion@manti.com or go to www.heropaintings.com . If you have already had a portrait completed, we pray that you are enjoying the portrait and God Bless You.
Sincerely and Respectfully,
Kenna

Today was our 2nd annual Run/Walk for the fallen in Sebring, Florida. Two of our participants shared pictures of Capt Hampton with me and walked specifically for her. Please know her sacrifice will not be forgotten. Your family will be in my prayers.

Sitting here at my desk in Australia, for no definite reason, no significant date, I decided to revisit the memorial site for Captain Kimberly Hampton. I've taken time to reflect on the life of this extraordinary young woman on many occasions, and I do want to tell her family and all who loved her that even those of us not privileged to know her in her lifetime keep her memory fresh. She remains an inspiration to all, no matter where we live. Rest peacefully Kimberly - and with sincere good wishes to your family who miss you so much.
