LA GRANGE - E. Marine Kincaid Jr., 77, of La Grange, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012. Marine was born September 26, 1935 in Kincaid, West Virginia to the late Ed Marine Kincaid, Sr. and Obie Mooney Kincaid. Marine was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Taylor Kincaid. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force for twenty years retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1974. Marine later worked for the Department of Social Services as a case worker for seventeen years. He was a member of Neuse Baptist Church, Kinston. Marine was a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association, a supporter of Friends of Israel and enjoyed fishing. A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 2 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Kincaid officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, La Grange. Marine is survived by five children, Terry Marine Kincaid of La Grange, Gregory Alan Kincaid and wife, Carla of Goldsboro, Anthony Dale Kincaid and wife, Teresa of La Grange, Linda Kincaid Newsome and husband, Johnny of Goldsboro, Stephanie Ellen Fox and husband, Tony of Greenville; three siblings, Jerry Kincaid of Florida, Leslie Kincaid of Tennessee and Lori Sue Samples of West Virginia; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rousefh.com. I knew Mr and Mrs Kincaid in the early 90s.The one thing I learned was they both loved their children and grandchildren dearly.My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
