Dear Bill,

This is Nov10,2012 so it hasn't been a year yet, but the children .and I miss you. We had a quiet Father's Day pray for you at Sherwood. We were thankful that you were with us so many years. Each of us left a flower near you, said a prayer, and cried.
You would be so proud of Steve. He's working on a govt. contract in Candy Bar, Afghanistan during construction for 90 days then home 30 until June 2013. Shelley is on leave from teaching and has started her own business "The Purple Lavender Turtle. Cleans. Declutters and designs homes. Tracy is thriving in her business and helps in Steve's office on Fridays. She continues to "shepherd" her family 'cause you left her as the Executie!!!!!
We miss you ,....
Our love forever..

I met “Bull” when I joined the Tennessee Air Guard in 1970. I had the privilege of flying many years with him in the KC-97 and the KC-135. He was an excellent pilot and a great person to be around. He always had some great stories to tell about flying or people he had met through the years. The last time I saw him was at our Guard flight crew luncheon in 2010. He and Steve came and as always, he had some story to share with everyone. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this time.

I am so sorry for your family's loss! Billy will be missed! I worked with Billy at Dollywood. I'll never forget his answer to my question of how pilots were able to land such huge planes on the runways. Billy's answer was they had a small, round hole in the bottom of the huge plane and they would drop a yoyo on a string though the hole. When the yoyo bounced back into the plane, they knew they had landed safely! Billy could tell some good ones! Again, Billy will be missed! Jerry Walters (Sevierville, TN)
