Does anyone remember the 1980's term, "co-dependant"? It was considered a negative term, tho for the life of me I could never figure out why. The deepest love we can have in this life, on this earth is to be loved in this way. So if this word is now allowable, let me say that Steve and Charrisa were co-dependent. In the best, most lovely, way. They couldn't wait to talk together, be together. They considered each other in everything they thought or did. Theirs is a love to be admired and cherished. Our love to you Steve and all of Charissa's family.

My Thoughts and Prayers are with you and your Family. Charissa had a captivating smile and a personality that was just as sweet as her smile. God Bless!

My heart is broken and I don't know if it will ever completely heal. My friend, my sister, I was blessed to know you. Charissa was the kind of friend everyone wants to have, but is lucky if you find it once in your lifetime. I miss her and think of her every day. My prayers go out to all that were touched by Charissa. The Lord has comforted his people and willl have compassion on them in their suffering. Isaiah 49:13

Steve,
I am so sorry about Charissa! I know you loved her so very much and she felt the same. I am glad that I was able to come and be there for you at the funeral! I am praying for you daily and if you need anything, please don't hesitate to call me!!! You are my brother and nothing will ever change that! I love you!

Steve,
I can't even imagine what you are going through. You brightened our day every time you and Charissa came to eat and dance. Our deepest sympathies and prayers are being said for you and your family. May God's grace help you through this difficult time. In sympathy, Chris, Chef Todd and our entire team.

Steve,
I love you and your bride so much. I'm overwhelmed at the news. The love you share with Charissa is inspiring and a love to look-up-too. I hope I can share and show the love of Christ the way she did. I'm praying. I can't wait to hug that sweet woman again.

Charissa, my beautiful sister in Christ, I will miss you. However, I know God wanted you with Him, under His roof. In His house He had a place set at His table, and a wing back chair reserved just for you. I have strength in knowing that since I believe, that Jesus died for us and then came back to life again, we can also believe that when Jesus returns, He will bring back with Him all the Christians who have died. You my dear will be there by His right hand.

May the Lord comfort your loving husband, Steve, who is now blinded by his grief. May the Lord uphold him with His hand and show him compassion through His unfailing love. May your sweet Mother, your sister, family and friends find comfort in the Lord, our refuge and strength, our ever-present help in times of trouble.

Charissa was the love of my life and a gift that I thanked God for everyday. I love everthing about her, and cannot express in words the depth of my love or now grief for her.

She is so missed, and has left an impossible void to fill as long as I live here on this earth.

I thank many of you for your kind words.

Charissa was a beautiful child and piano student of mine when she was nine years old. My heart is saddened by her death. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.
