POLK, HELEN JUANITA DANIELS - 77, resident of Powell, Tennessee, died Monday, January 28, 2013 at Tennova Residential Hospice in Knoxville. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Claude Daniels and Gracie Clifton Daniels and a member of Bell's Campground Baptist Church in the Powell Community. She is survived by her husband, R. H. Polk, whom she married March 5, 1955; sisters, Margaret Petty, Peggy Hill, and Wilma Oliver, all of Columbia; brothers, Charles Daniels and Perry Daniels of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Claude Daniels, Jr. and Jimmy Daniels. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Gibsonville Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Notes of condolence may be extended at oakesandnichols.com. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
