Dearest Son: According to the book, our loved ones send us pennies from Heaven. I guess I will need to start looking more closely when I find pennies:). Oh, my darling son, how very much I love and miss you. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: I started reading a book about signs and symbols our loved ones send us from the other side. I've not gotten to the good part yet - I will let you know or maybe you will let me know! I love and miss you, sweet son. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: I just want to you that I sure do love and miss you. I keep dreaming that there are things I need to do for you, but it's not always really clear. I think some of it has to do with the time of year - back to school. Remember, I always took your picture the first day of school. Most of those pictures have Nikki in them. Love you, precious son. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: I haven't been going to church lately - no real excuse expect I've been spending the weekends working on projects. I miss the comfort that church brings me. I've been feeling a little lost lately and not praying as much as I usually do. I ask for our Beloved Lord and you to help me find my way. I love and miss you, my sweet, darling boy. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: a beautiful summer morning. Thinking of you and how very much I miss you. You are my angel. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: I dreamt last night that I was planning to buy you some shorts for camp, specifically UT shorts. When I woke up, I thought, "I need to go to Sports Authority this weekend and get Rob his shorts". Then I suddenly remembered that would not be necessary. That happens sometimes when I wake up - I forget for a few precious moments that you passed away. I love and miss you, my darling, beautiful boy. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: Memories of past trips to visit you in Knoxville also bring back memories of clothes shopping. I really enjoyed spoiling you. I have the fancy Oakley sunglasses I bought you two years ago. Maybe I will start wearing them, even if they are for a dude! Son, I'm so glad we enjoyed each others company and that we had such grand times together. I love and miss you, sweet boy. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: Two years ago this week I was in Knoxville and you and I were car shopping. I was so proud of you for the way you conducted yourself - you were very professional. I hope you know son, I was and will always be proud of you. I love and miss you, my darling son. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: I'm sure you know about Robin Williams passing away. People are saying they are blown away - he always seemed so happy! As we know, depression is a terrible thing and people can be adept at hiding it so very well. Quite frankly, I'm not surprised by his death, just sad. I cried all the way home on the train yesterday. I guess it hit a little too close to home for me, given how I lost you. I love and miss you, my beautiful son. I hope you are happy and have peace. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: I read something this morning about how when you have lost someone, it helps to read cards from them so you can remember them being alive and not gone. You know, I've saved all of the cards you ever gave me. I need to organize them - they are in about 20 different places! I love and miss you, sweet son. Love, Mom
