Dearest Son: This morning when I opened the garage door, your wind chimes began to chime. That usually doesn't happen, but I could strongly feel your presence. Maybe that was just your way of announcing yourself. I sure do love an miss you, sweet boy. Thanks for being with me while I drove to work this morning. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: Becca sent me a text last night. She talked about your finding the peace in Heaven that you couldn't find here. I feel that is probably true on one hand as you were always such a sensitive person and felt things more than many. I know you suffered greatly with your internal struggles but I always had the hope that you would be able to quell some of those struggles and develop into an even more wonderful person than were already were. I just don't know son. Maybe one day I will have the answers, but I suspect that's not going to happen until you and I are reunited and you have the opportunity to tell me. I love and miss you, my darling boy. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: Whst a lovely February day. It's 42 degrees. We are headed to Lake Geneva for the Winter Festival. Hopefully the ice sculptures won't have melted too much, especially after the artists worked so hard on their creations. These are times when I miss you even more - it's the kind of event you would have enjoyed with us! I love and miss you, son. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: I am praying for God and you to give me strength today to be patient with those who are struggling. I love and miss you, sweet son. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: I saw a man last night walking with his little son (about 4 year old) and holding his hand while they crossed the street. It made me think about you and all those many, many times I held your hand until one day you said, "I can walk by myself". I still held on to the hood of your coat, but ever so lightly so you wouldn't notice. I love and miss you, sweet son. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: When I went to visit you last night, I was unable to make it to your resting place - the snow had drifted to the middle of my thighs! I did still sing to you and blew you kisses. I love and miss you, sweet son. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: I dreamt about you last night. It was a wonderful dream and I felt happy when I awakened. Thank you for visiting me. I love and miss you, sweet boy. Love, Mom

Dearest Son: What a crazy Super Bowl game!!! I brought your special Patriots wreath into the living room while we watched and the Grans brought the Patriots nutcracker into the living room while they watched the game. I'm sure you enjoyed it from your seat in Heaven! Wish you had been here to help eat chili and wings - it was yummy! I love and miss you son. Love, Mom

Hey cousin, I know you're smiling in heaven in your Pats jersey. Glad they won one for ya. And although I'm an Eagles fan...and I hate them, tonight I'm glad they won. Go Pats....for you Rj.

Dearest Son: Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Go Patriots! What a hot mess with the controversy around "Deflate Gate". Steve is making Purdue Boilermaker Tailgate Chili and we are also having wings. I've been really lonely for you today - I wish you were here with us to some great food and gang up on Steve (he is for the Seahawks). I love and miss you, sweet son. I'm sorry I didn't visit today - we are having a mini-blizzard but please know you are always in my heart and mind. Love, Mom
