Smokey VIII inspired me to open my home to Newman,a Blue Tick from the other 'T' state. Thanks Smokey---you'll always be #1 in the Big Orange 'T' state and in my heart.

I'm hoping the newest Smokey can turn into as good a dog as this fella. He was a great mascot and one of the highlights of my trips to Neyland Stadium.

Damn Good Dog! You were the best mascot a team could ask for. Now General Neyland has another friend to keep him company up there. RIP.

I remember watching the Vols and Smokey VIII whip up on my alma mater Syracuse in Neyland Stadium. He was a good dog
