For Aaron's family: I don't know you and never met Aaron, except on a hunting page on FB. Sounds like he was an amazing man. You may or may not know about Kaziah Hancock in Utah, who paints portraits of our fallen warriors for their families at no charge. No cost. Look her up. But a referall needs to go to her from a family member or close friend. She won't do this without permission, and she'd like the family to pick a photo. Please contact me, or Kaziah directly, if you have a favorite pic of Aaron that you'd like to have as a portrait. If you contact me, I'll just hook you up direct w/ Kaziah. My family thanks Aaron for his service, and we thank YOU for his service -- he could not have achieved all he did without his family. God bless you all.

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and to also let the Blanchard Family know that we recently sent Care Packages to American troops in the war zones. Each box carried a dedication sheet that includes the name, service information and a photo of your loved one, Aaron R. Blanchard US Army Captain. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

God bless and comfort all who grieve his loss. My son is an Aviator who knew Aaron and still misses him and is inspired every day by Aaron, his accomplishments and his loving heart. I wanted you to know that Aaron may be gone but he is definitely not forgotten!

Mrs. Blanchard,

I'm truly sorry for your loss. My name is Kelly Broomall and we make toys for kids at Christmas and have a special place in our hearts for the children and their families who lose a loved in this god forsaken war.

We would be honored if you would allow us to make a cradle for Amalia and a train for Hunter http://youtu.be/Xqr5VXyu-yY
If you would please contact me at yllek1@frontier.com. We already have the pieces made for the cradle and train and would like to laser their names into them before we assemble them.

I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Aaron will never be forgotten.

For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I'm home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I'm only a civilian
And I don't even know if it's allowed

But I salute you; allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.

For those missing in action;
for those who didn't make it home.
I know you're in God's presence you are not alone.
For every neatly folded flag;
for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory.

I salute you, allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.

I salute you .

I Salute You.

To the Blanchards

I didn't know until the Monday May 6 when I read the Yak paper. OMG I don't know what to say I'm in shock. To all the family I send my love and deepest sympathy. I never got to meet Aaron but with what Don would tell me and the phone calls shared between us while looking for Don. We talked about family and hunting of course and shared some laughs. I have some great memories and I feel lucky to have those!

All my love!
