William "Floppy" Carl Clark, 57, passed away Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at his residence in New Haven.
Floppy was a Catholic by faith and a member of Immaculate Conception Church. He retired from Bardstown City in maintenance with 25 years of service. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was born March 19, 1960, to the late William Oscar and Mary Louise Donahue Clark in New Haven.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, James Oscar Clark; and two sisters, Mary Phyllis Grimes and Patricia Louise Shain.
Survivors include his wife, Mary "Betsy" Shain Clark, of New Haven; two sons, Joseph William Clark, of Bardstown, and James Eric Clark, of New Haven; two daughters, Amanda Jean Clark, of Bardstown, and Kimberly Nicole Clark, of New Haven; one brother, Phillip Wayne Clark, of New Haven; three sisters, Elizabeth Jean (Martin) Flahiff, of Bardstown, Pamela Ann (Michael) Shain, of New Haven and Angela Marie (Joe Paul) Smith, of New Haven; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at Immaculate Conception with Father Chris Lubecke officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Holy Cross.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at William R. Rust Funeral Home New Haven Chapel and will continue Friday from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home. A prayer service will be at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at the funeral home.
