Bob Halvorsen Obituary
Halvorsen, the former photo chief of the Los Angeles Daily News and a long-time Lake Balboa resident, died May 2. He was 82.
"He was a real character and really good guy," said former colleague and Daily News photographer Jeff Goldwater, who worked with Halvorsen for more than 30 years. "He was a good all-around photographer and was the photo chief for years and years."
