Uncle Bill I am so sorry I never had a chance to come see you and Aunt Lupe. May God forgive you of all your sins and allow you to be an angel for your children and grandchildren. To watch over and help to protect them. I love you and I hope you knew that! Wish I were there.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Chapman when I was a finalist in the American Legion Oratorical Contest while a High School student. Bill and his wife Lupe were genuine, and fun-loving people. They were supportive of my efforts and even came out to support me at the competition when it moved from San Bernardino to Redlands. Folks like Bill and his wife Lupe were a part of the greatest generation and I was lucky to learn first-hand from their kindness why. God bless their family and my sincere sorrow for your loss.

To have such wonderful children, he must have been a wonderful man! Rest in Peace and prayers to the family as you say good bye.
