Allyn was my dad Rollie's best friend and cousin (aka "Bart" for Allyn and "Chris" for Rollie) I always heard entertaining & historical stories from Allyn, and enjoyed everyone of them. Especially the antics of both boys growing up in Ontario. Hearing these stories brought me closer to my father that has been pasted away for 23 years. I am happy to say that I stay in contact with Layne & Dina. Connor Allyn's grandson and my son Geordi have a lot of fun together, are good friends & cousins!

Blessings & heart felt sympathy to all the Bartholomews.
Love,
Ilene Shafer (Christman) and familu

For years, the Bartholomew's front yard was the heartbeat of our neighborhood. I will always remember playing croquet and wiffle-ball with Dina and all of our neighborhood friends. Mr. Bartholomew also took us on nature walks, to the beach, and horseback riding. He was a kind-hearted man, and I will always have wonderful memories of him.
