Goodbye Johnny Winter,

You are one of the greatest artist that ever was, or ever will be. First saw you on "The Midnight Special" in 1973 and you were amazing...will never forget it. When the live album came out in 1976, you blew everyone away all over again. Nobody could play guitar, then turnaround and play slide like JW. Your work with Muddy, James Cotton and B.B. was another milestone. I saw Muddy live in 1979 and was awestruck, I immediately understood what Johnny saw. I witnessed Johnny live in 1973 and at various clubs and Blues festivals up until recently. It was a THRILL to attend every show. Johnny could rock & roll with the best of them and play the blues like an old school Delta bluesman...a gift that was his alone. I was always checking his tour schedule and assumed if he were on tour, he was ok...then the dreaded news came.
Thank you for all those great years, you will never be forgotten.

RIP Johnny, I have been following you for 36 years , I know you didn't know me but you were loved and respected for you incredible talent. I have seen you so many times , that white flowing hair, your smile and your lightening speed on guitar like it was so easy. Going to miss you so much.
Much Love,
