My sincere condolences to Johnny's wife and family. Words cannot describe the way his playing and singing would make me cry, laugh, scream, and howl. There are many greats out there but He is my favorite. Saw him live at the Palace Theater in Albany N.Y. in 1976 with Muddy Waters and the James Cotton Band and will never forget the Mojo I felt from them.
May His music make me soar till the end of my days.

Texas' own version of Jimi Hendrix!

One of the baddest Hillbilly cats that ever 'ripped up' a guitar!

He was AWESOME!

You can't study Texas Blues, or Texas Rock, without checking out this guy; it's a sin, man!

Sound The Bell, 'Johnny Guitar', 'cause Heaven done called another blues-stringer back home!
