How I wish it were not so. The reality is that the world has lost Robin Williams. Sadness and disbelief remain.

I still miss you today like it was yesterday. I am so sad that a man who gave so much joy to others was hurting so deeply inside himself!!!

He is, was so real.
A one and only, Robin Williams.

I have never met the man, and I have not watched every single movie, but I was a fan the moment an alien creature named Mork came landed in our world. I was so young at the time that I truly never thought about what a true genius he was. Now I have time to go back and truly enjoy the laughter and the tears and understand Robin Williams as Robin Williams!

In hopes sharing a nice memory of Mr. Williams' can bring comfort to his dear ones. Thank you.

Some 38 years later...the gifts of joy bestowed by the kindly young mime in San Francisco's Aquatic Park still sparkle. Mr. Williams' brilliant blue eyes scanned the throng of tourists and proceeded to focus in on an unlovely, unhappy 15 year old girl. Suddenly, he was no longer standing on the grass but was perched on the hip of his fellow mime. Gasps! And just as swiftly, this nimble flyer alighted right before me. Whoosh! Back on his partner, this time slowly swinging back and forth, still holding me in his pensive gaze. Swoop! The tender-hearted showman , his exaggerated frown complementing those sorrowful azure eyes, was once again standing face-to-face with this lucky audience member.

Yet soon, an exultant smile lit the face of this court jester who then sashayed into a madcap dance routine devised to delight. Robin Williams' singular offerings, melding compassion and comedic genius...treasured forever.
