Harry Foley Obituary

A graveside celebration of life with Full Military Honors for longtime Lamar resident; Harry Foley will be held at 1 p.m. on Thu., Feb. 27, 2014 at the Fairmount Cemetery.
Per Harry's request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
Harry was born on June 24, 1942 at Scottsbluff, Neb. to Harry and Agnes (Cullen) Foley and passed away on Feb. 22, 2014 at his home in Lamar at the age of 71.
He is preceded in death by his parents, numerous aunts and uncles and a sister; Anna Rose Rollins.
Harry is survived by numerous relatives including a very special friend; Geneva Melgosa of Lamar, niece; Cari (Rick) Bellairs of Shelby, N.C., cousin; Cathy Carrigan of Brighton, Colo., second cousins; Mark and Sheryl Carrigan, Ken and Ruth Ann Cullen all of Lamar as well as his comrades of the Lamar VFW Post #3621 and many friends.

Harry and his mom Agnes were very special to me when I was a young boy. If not for them I would be a worthless person today. Harry was the best.
