Elizabeth Self Bishop, 86, of Hodgenville, passed away Sunday, November 13 at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, a retired inspector at Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after 28 years of service and a member of the Senior Citizens Center in Hodgenville.
She was preceded in death by a son, James "Jimmy" Walter Bishop; her parents, Clint and Nema Metcalf Self and three brothers; her twin, James Self, Melvin Self and Paul Kenneth "Todd" Self.
She is survived by two daughters, Libby Ann (Gene) Grimes of Hodgenville and Karla Bishop of Pennsylvania; two sons, Jerry (Judy) Bishop of Millwood and Kenny (Kathy) Bishop of Hodgenville, nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16 at the Corinth Baptist Church 12178 Campbellsville Rd. Buffalo, KY 42716 with Brother Tim Maggard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville and after 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16 at the church until time for services.

Sorry for the loss of your mother Karla and Trish , I hope you both can get through this time and trial of a loss like this. You don't have to be in person, to put her at rest, she is in the hands of the lord now, and she can hear your thoughts, and I'm sure she is watching over the two of you. You both have been together going on 20 years and I'm sure you both hold fond memories, You were her baby girl Karla and I know she cherished you, Hold all the memories for it will carry you on till you all meet again . Karla and Trish, We are so sorry to hear about your mother. We are keeping you in our prayers and hope you find comfort during this time. You call us if you need anything. Love you both very much. Just remember all the great memories that you have shared. Karla, I am sure Trish will keep you smiling. She always does.

Karla n Trish, We are so sorry to hear this sad news. You both are in our prayers. Karla, your mother always knew that you were thinking of her and that you loved her. She also knew that you were in the best of care with Trish. She will be watching over the both of you and have her arms wide open for when you both go home. Keep the good memories to live on with. We are here for you both.
