I am utterly shocked to find out Danny has left this world. I'm profoundly saddened to realize this. I had been trying to reach him for years now... old numbers, SAG, online searches etc. But I didn't even consider this. He was too vibrant, too joyful, too vital to be gone. We were very close friends and colleagues from our youthful New York days. We met in a play about the Nat Turner slave revolt called The Prophet Nat, in which he scared everyone who was fortunate enough to see the play! Brilliant performance. I even got a chance to direct him in some scene work that he was submitting for an audition. Once in California, I did successfully reach him and I was shocked that he was even here. He had just lost a close friend, and I believe was comforted that I called at just the right time. One of his favorite poems was from Dylan Thomas which said: Do Not Go Gentle into that good night. Old age should burn and rave at close of day! Rage, rage against the dying of the light. I imagine he did not go gentle, but still remain perplexed that he is gone. If someone from the family or friends can please contact me to help me process the how and why of this, I would really appreciate it. I miss you Danny... I'm going to dig up our old photos together.

I received a message stating that it had been 10 years since Danny's passing. I'll never forget Dan and am humbled and saddened at this anniversary. I just wanted to tell folks that Danny is in my heart and my memories. As we all know, he was spirited to say the least and one-of-a-kind. If anyone has photos of Danny toward the end of his time here, I would love to see them. I will try to dig up a photo of him and me from when we were close in the early 90's. May he stay in our hearts. Cathy Diamond

We performed at the Abbey of Regina Laudis OSB In an original play called loves labors won based on the search for Shakespeare´s lost manuscript together He was great fun and very insightful and talented actor. He was deeply in love with Lucy Maycock. He should have lived a long life. He gave me a copy of "leaves of grass" which I still have.

I'm an old friend of Danny's and came upon this page while poking around the web looking for news of him. I'm so saddened and shocked to find that he passed a few years back. Danny was one of a kind and an important part of my youth. I am filled with remorse that I wont get the opportunity again to contact him. I have the most special memories of his rollicking spirit, literary appetite, and gentle friendship. My condolences to his family. Cathy

I'm sorry to hear that Danny has left us. What a great guy, and that laugh of his still sticks in my mind. Like Murph's mention of the "Goin Home" song, I'm reminded of another song, Midnight Rambler, Rolling Stones. It was a mainstay for us while driving in Matt's car by the same name. So, I hope Danny and our departed friends and loved one's are once again enjoying the tune.

Danny, always in my heart. I wish we'd stayed in touch. We now have Wildwood reunions and many people will be saddened by your passing, I recall once you said you wanted Alvin Lee & 10 Years After's song "goin' home" played at your funeral...I doubt many people knew this and I doubt you would have remembered but I'm playing it in your honor. I do NOT look foreward to telling Fish if I can ever find him. RIP Brother and fellow Jet!
