Mary and Frankie,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have had a few email exchanges with Fred over the past few years and enjoyed them all. While I was only a part of the family for a short time, I always kept Fred, Mary and Linda in my thoughts. Knowing Fred most of my life through the Post Office and with my time with Linda, it is always a sad day when a friend passes. Please give my best to your mom, Mary.

I have known Fred my entire life. He was very good friends to my grandparents and all of my family, he has been around all of our large family functions since I can first remember. I had the pleasure of being able to go to many "guys only dinners, sit and watch football and baseball games, and hear amazing stories. I'm so grateful for the time I spent with him, stories I was able to hear and for all the world war memorabilia he passed on to me. Fred was a great friend of mine, and the only person who emailed me at any given time between 12 - 3 am in the morning.. :) he had the best outlook on life, and I hope to be the same exact way.. Love you Fred.
