Jimmy,

It was such an honor to know your mother, she led an exemplary life. I've never know anyone like her. She was always sweet and happy to see me over these last many decades!!!

Actually, I adored both your parents. I'm not sure if you remember, but your dad used to help me with my math. I loved being down at your house because your family exuded so much love, (not to mention your mother's cooking)!

My condolences to you, Dennis, Angela and your entire family,

Phyllis (Condon) Bebee

My condolences to all of Bea's extended family and friends. She was my PTA mentor many years ago, and we traveled to Sacramento on Safari to lobby on behalf of California's children many times. Marvelous lady.

I believe Bea lived her life to it's fullest.

Bea Antenore was a friend and a mentor to me. She helped me with my first foray as a committee member for a Long Beach Area League of Women Voters study on Education.
She also coached myself and others in the LBALWV on how to moderate a candidate forum.

Bea had such an warm heart, a great sense of humor, and was incredibly kind and patient with me as I learned about the mission and operations of our local League of Women Voters.
She made me laugh often and I felt grateful for her, always.
Thanks, Bea. It was wonderful to know you and count myself as one of your friends.

I remember Bea's 90th birthday party! Oh dear sweet Bea, I am sorry you have left us. There's a tremendous void in our community and certainly with your beautiful family. I will never forget all the times you brought a smile to my lips with your humor, your kindness and your friendship and love. I have thought of you often and I'm so sorry I didn't pick up the phone or just drive over to your house. You will be missed by Long Beach. Thanks for all that you have accomplished for our great city. I won't forget you, dear friend. My sincerest condolences to Bea's family.

Bea was also a board member of the long beach rosie the riveter foundation. We honored her at our We Can Do It awards because she could do it and do it well. She was proud of her work as a rosie during wwii when she assembled bombsites for bombers. What a wonderful woman and friend.

Bea was a model of civic activism, always working toward making Long Beach better. Whether advocating for voter education, older adult quality of life issues, parks programs, or better education and safety for our children, Bea brought passionate value to all she committed to. Long Beach is better for her contributions.

I am one of many who will miss checking in with her. She was a frank and honest barometer when I wanted to know how we are doing and what we could be doing better. May she rest in peace now and forever.
