Cruz R. Delgado
94, went to be with our Lord on February 13, 2013, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Feliz Delgado and her baby daughter Marina Delgado. She leaves behind 11 children, Robert, Ralph, Carol, Gloria, Yolanda, Nellie, David, Helen, Esther, Guillermo and Christina, 23 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren. Her 3 sisters Ascencion, Esperanza, Virginia and 1 brother Rufino.
Born on May 3, 1918, she was a lifelong resident of Colton. She worked for Gene Belk fruit packers for 25 years, which she enjoyed very much. She loved gardening and the sweet pea was her favorite flower. She also enjoyed shopping, going to the casino, mariachi music, and most of all her family. She was very loving, caring, and giving and always welcomed everyone into her home. She had a beautiful heart and will be greatly missed by all.
Services will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Colton. Viewing at 9:30 a.m. Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and mass at 11:00 a.m. Final resting place at Hermosa Cemetery in Colton. Reception to follow at the American Legion in Colton.
