I worked with Davy in the Robbery Div. @ LBPD many years ago and he was the nicest, most caring man there. He had a personality that was larger than life and could make you laugh out loud within seconds. I am so sad to hear of his passing; RIP, you lovely man.

Davey: It was an honor to work under your supervision. Both of us thought you were a great person and sergeant. You were always in our corner when others broke and ran. I'm very sad you're gone. Rest in peace.

David watched over me, my kids... all of us who lived on Colorado Place in L.B. He always made us laugh. He was quite the character, a very giving friend. He was very proud to be a LBPD officer (Sargeant). There will never be another David Alan Bauer...just NOT possible! R.I.P. David!

Once meeting David, you always remember the first impression of him. His smile and complements greet you first and then a great big hug. My lasting memory of him will always be remembered. He truly was a nice gentleman and one of a kind. RIP, surly you will be missed. Ms Money, retired Lbpd
