I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Frances's children Patrick, Christina and Sarah, and family.
As a remote relative the visit of Frances and Alida in 1965 (Holland) left an imperishable memory, which I treasure.
In 1965 Frances (then my little cousin) visited Holland, and she stole my heart forever. The second time we met was in 2008 (and ever since) by e-mail, unforgettable valuable. Thanks Frances ... we keep in contact.
I want to express my sympathy to Patrick, Christina and Sarah.
Only minutes ago the news drippled down to Holland where part of Frances' roots remain. An ocean in between does not stop sadness crossing continents. First time Frances and I met was in Holland, we both were 2 years of age and no recollections of that. The next time was in 1976 when I stayed with the Borst family in California for 6 weeks. Then already she was very much into sports and I remember the yelling when she was playing softball at Tri-City. And I remember by that time she started writing poems - one I remember on the mountains, 'big, bold and beautiful'. So sad she has gone. I want her children to know they can be proud of her - forever.
I have a smile on my face thinking about Frances playing second base and laying out on top of that softball in order to make the double play, and her playing the outfield and getting under that ball and always surprising me when she catches it! And then seating in the dugout talking about her kids schooling and goals.(all just a short year and a half ago) I once asked her from mother to mother (a little advice), how did you get such smart kids? Her response was, I drank fresh squeezed orange juice every morning while they were in my tummy...lol, not taking the credit. It's the orange juice...hahaha
To her children: contiue to make her proud
Our thoughts, prayers and sympathies to Christina and family from Morgan's family.
I will always remember Frances and feel very fortunate to have known her.
GOD BLESS all of her family and friends. She is one of GOD'S beautiful ANGELS now. She will be missed by all that have crossed her path through out life.
Sending prayers and thoughts to family and friends of Frances. Met her briefly once and she had such a wonderful, happy spirit.
