Homemade Belgium waffles with hot syrup, with "the good butter" and a glass of ice cold milk all while watching lil orphan Annie was usually one of my favorite times at your house. There was always an amazing fun filled weekend or adventure with you. You conveyed pure unconditional love, and compassion with me. I am so lucky and greatful to have been raised around you. I have so many wonderful memories of living with you. Also all of our MANY trips from Washington DC, San Francisco, to yearly San Diego adventures ALWAYS filled with constant laughter and smiles that our cheeks hurt. I miss you immensely and treasure all the memories you and I share. Sitting by the fireplace on a chilly afternoon chatting about books, school or life was the norm when I lived there. You were always so caring and always made time for anything to be added to the agenda. I love you more than I could ever say and miss you terribly. You were more than my grandma, but also a best friend too. Thank you for being you. Missing your hugs and kisses EVERYday. I will always miss you greatly, my glorious grandma Gloria!
