To Todd and Carrie,
Just received the news today of Tom's passing. Tom and I were “partners” at age 5. When my family moved to Dominguez in 1946, our backyards butted up against each other and we went grew up and went to school together, thru high school. We joined the National Guard and attended boot camp together. Upon discharge Tom and I worked at Domiguez Water Company together. I joined Long Beach Police Dept. April 1964 and Tom joined a few years later.
He was in my wedding. Tom and Judy bought a house (the same model) just one street from ours. We enjoyed years of BBQ's, swimming and raising our kids together.
We moved north (500 miles) to Paradise California in June, 1974. We kept in touch through our mothers as they aged, they remained best friends also. They are both gone now. Tom was the closest thing I ever had to a brother. I have so many stories and memories about our growing up.
Todd and Carrie your dad was loved and highly respected by many. He will always be in my heart.

Dad, I miss you so much, I can't believe you are gone. My heart is broken. I will try to be the best wife and mother I can because I know that is what you expect of me.
I love you more than words can say.

So sorry to hear about my partner for many years in patrol & detective divisions. Still think about the many humorous memories on & off the job that we shared together. Unable to attend due to my recent back surgery. Would very much like to have attended what Tommy & I used to do by going to Joe Jost on occasion to toast a fallen officer with a schooner & special. Your family will be in our prayers.
