When I met Walter, little did I know, my life as well as 2 future generations of my family would be changed forever! Walt Reese, Refinery Worker extraordinaire, always had the inside scoop on what refineries were hiring, when, and how many! I started there at age 18. I intern passed the word about jobs to my brothers, sisters and now my nephews are making a living doing the same! He left a strong and wonderful legacy behind in family and friends. "Rest in Peace Walt my friend and know we will continue to teach your life's lessons" Love Always

I grew up five doors down from the Reece Family. Walter kept us always laughing and always will! You will truly be missed, but never forgotten!

Walter is and will always be a true Icon for the City of Lakewood! He will be greatly missed, but never left out of conversations!
To know the Reece Family is to love them!

I was privileged to be one of many who knew Mr. Reece. He had a wonderful sense of humor and really enjoyed busting our chops. And trust me, everyone was fair game. Anytime I think of him, an immediate smile comes to my face. Rest in Peace Mr. Reece, you will be missed
