Like many others I first met Don when I was a Boy Scout and he was Scout Master of a different troop. Many were the times at Camporees that he helped not only his own boys, but others like me learn the proper way to pitch a tent, sharpen an axe and all the other "woodland" skills we would practice in the desert of New Mexico. Later on, I was priviledged to work with him at WSMR in BLD 300. Thanks to him, I learned the behind the scenes of how a missile firing was supported. Our prayers are with your family.
