Roy was a great family historian and liked to include his far-flung cousins, like me, in his communications. For several years he put together and sent out a Lashway family newsletter that had all kinds of great news, stories and pictures of family members far and wide. He and Zelma also used to travel in their Airstream trailer around the West visiting family members and initiating reunions where ever they went. My mother Coreen (Vance) Holmquist was his first cousin and a few years younger than him and they shared a keen interest in their common Norcutt grandparents' genealogy. Everyone in the family will miss Roy's generosity and kindness. Our family's condolences to Zelma and her family in this time of loss. I hope Roy's big-hearted legacy of family support will be remembered by all of his extended family.
