I was privileged to be one of Dr. Worrilow's many patients. Her kind heart and her devotion to medicine and her patients were an indication of her faith. She shared her faith both by word and example. I am certain God welcomed her Home to share all eternity with Him. Sending her a prayer today and My deepest sympathy to the family.
Because of my interest in genealogy and my grandmother's Worrilow family, today I decided to "google" the name, and came up with Dr. Suzi's obituary. I remember her and Bill very fondly, from the two Worrilow reunions they had at their lovely home and the two we had at our former home in Worton, MD, back in the 90s. My condolences to her family, and I would love to hear from anyone in the family who remembers us. (By the way, this website says there are 20 Worrilow families now in the U.S. but there are actually hundreds of Worrilows and thousands of descendants of the original emigrant.)
Hi wendy. So sorry to hear abour mother. You have many wonderful memories of her, I'm sure. She was a very unique, one of a kind person. I enjoyed the week I spent with her a few years. She would introduce me to anyone who came to her home as her "baby sitter". Linda goudy
Dr Worrilow was our family physician. I also was able to work with her at the GSH where I was an RN in the 80's/90's.
She was a joy, a blessing to all. She told me so many funny stories of her experiences as being the first woman to graduate from Medical School...my most favorite was her being called as a first year intern to "pronouce a body"...which means to go to the bedside and check the vitals and sign a death certificate. She had no idea what she had to do and the nurses were all giggling behind the curtain, so she raised her hands and said, "I now pronounce you dead"....we laughed so many times over that story. Dr. Worrilow had such a heart for others and a brilliant mind. She was constantly studying and learning. She was a light for our Lord and Savior. I loved seeing her in her red suits with perfect accessories, running down the halls of the hospital and of her office. I don't know when she ever rested. I can't wait to see her in Heaven to get a big hug and a smile. She will be in my heart forever. My condolences to the family, and particularly Wendy, one of my coworkers at the GSH long ago.

Because of Dr. Worrilow my mother-in-law and father-in-law were able to adopt a son. She is a angel and has given them the best blessing in their life. I will be forever thankful for her for giving our family so much joy and love. We love her dearly and she will be sadly missed by the Bering family.
What a blessing Doc was to our family, both as my physician and my mom's best friend.
We have so many fond memories of times spent together. Susy was very giving, caring and a positive person who loved to share her faith. Right now she is praising and glorifying our Heavenly Father with those who have gone before her. We shall miss her loving friendship.
