Aunt Bea,
I'll get a chance to celebrate the good times we had together at the Gin Mill later this month when I visit my mom--your sister Elizabeth--in April. But I still like the way you made the "Perfect Manhattan" which
I still enjoy here in Chicago. Hope you and Uncle Benny are have a few!
And someday, all three of us can celebrate together.
We will miss celebrating her birthday in July. We always had so much fun with her. Shirley Longnaker and Marsha Eisenhauer
Aunt Bea - thanks to you and Uncle Benny, I have some of my fondest and cherished childhood memories! As a "city slicker" growing up in the streets of Philadelphia, you introduced me to nature, the environment and "country living" by spending part of our summers at your summer cottage at Waterworks...I always looked forward with fervor to my visits and even caught my first fish! (a bass I believe). I've been "hooked" (pun intended) ever since. Thank you so much for all the wonderful memories and your generosity to me and our family throughout the years. You will always be remembered. Your loving Nephew, Michael
You will be missed, my Friend. Always smiling, pleasant, an inspiration to keep going. Hope you will be doing the Polka in Heaven with your friends. RIP
Of all the people I have met in my lifetime she is the one who showed me that a long life can be a productive life. She had a sharp mind, voted at the last presidential election and had a heart of pure gold. A generous soul who had many friends and her cat Midnight which she dearly lived. I will miss her greatly. You will have golden wings in heaven!
